The United Jewish Peoples Fraternal Order (UJPFO) condemns the terrorist attack carried out on the Temple Israel synagogue in West Bloomfield, Michigan on Thursday March 13th. UJPFO also expresses its gratitude to the brave security officers that prevented the attacker from causing harm to the 140 children and staff in the synagogue.
At a moment where Islamophobia, anti-Jewish hate, and general ethnic violence is on the rise in the United States, the UJPFO cautions against generalizations against the Muslim, Arab, and Lebanese communities.
Corporate America, with its fascist, evangelical, and white supremacist foot soldiers have been equating the war crimes of the United States and Israeli far-right governments with Jewish people of all walks of life in every corner of the world.
If we are manipulated into pitting the Jewish and Muslim brothers against each other, the only benefactor is Wall Street, the Pentagon, and the fascists who wish to deflect their economic crises and policy failures onto the working people and create division in the resistance against the forces of reaction. The goal of the leaders such as Donald Trump and Benjamin Netanyahu is to plunge the world into war and chaos for the expansion of the failing American Empire.
