Passover is a time to speak about liberation struggles and freedom against tyranny. Throughout the world the Jewish people and all partisans of democracy commemorate the Uprising with a solemn renewal of abiding faith and hope in humanity’s everlasting struggle for freedom and dignity.

We dedicate our class to the domestic and international struggles against a tyrannical “Pharaoh,” the President of the United States, Donald Trump. We will tie the heroic struggles of the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising against tyranny of the Nazi Regime to the modern day liberation movements against King Trump and his regime.

During Passover the Jewish people stretch out their hand of comfort and support to the people in the four corners of the world striving to be free for they remember that “we were slaves in the land of Egypt.”
